Federal regulations require firefighters to search structural fires, or burning buildings, for signs of human life, causing firefighters nationwide to be regularly exposed to life-threatening situations, leading to tens of thousands of injuries, dozens of fatalities, and lifelong health illnesses. As a result, fire departments annually spend over 2 billion dollars on these injuries. Firefighters have faced these life-threatening issues for years and have not seen any solution developed, until FireBot.
Paradigm Robotics flagship product, FireBot, is the world’s first high-temperature resistant, thermally insulated, wirelessly controlled, obstacle-climbing search and rescue robot that can be deployed in burning buildings to efficiently search for and locate human life, without necessitating firefighters to physically enter structural fires and risk their lives. FireBot revolutionizes firefighting, giving firefighters freedom to focus on other tasks, situational awareness, and life-saving information. FireBot not only mitigates firefighters' risks and increases victims chances for survival, but it can also be used in commercial facilities to mitigate risks to workers by increasing situational awareness during hazardous situations.
FireBot is a nationally recognized award-winning innovation, and is currently being beta-tested by multiple regional fire departments and research services. Having secured multiple patents and spoken with hundreds of firefighters around the country, our goal is to deploy FireBot around the nation to mitigate risks to our brave firefighters and hardworking industrial workers and increase the chance that they come home safely.
